The cinematic franchise sensation SCHOOL OF MAGICAL ANIMALS continues its success story and has been honored with the German Film Award for the most viewed film for the third time in a row. The film team personally accepted the prestigious award on May 9th in Berlin.
With more than three million admissions, SCHOOL OF MAGICAL ANIMALS 3 was previously awarded the Golden Screen Award and the coveted Bogey Award – the first film to do so since 2019.
After the tremendous success of the first two films in the franchise, both of which were awarded the German Film Award in the Highest Admissions category in 2022 and 2023, the third installment of the cinema series has been on the big screen since September 26, 2024.
Directed once again by Sven Unterwaldt (CATWEAZLE, FOUR MAGICAL SISTERS), SCHOOL OF MAGICAL ANIMALS is based on the best-selling children's and young adult book series of the same name by Margit Auer, which has sold over 10 million copies in the German-speaking region alone and has been translated into 26 languages.
The official audiobook for SCHOOL OF MAGICAL ANIMALS 3 is now available on CD and for streaming. Narrated by Johannes Steck, it features the original voices and music from the film.
